Widend Fenders

I'm almost at the point that I can can buy widend fenders for the rear of my bug.

I'm thinking of 2 or 3 inch widend fenders (4 till 6 cm-ers)...

But what are the experiences from different shops that sell them..?
HOw is the fitment?
How is the finishing?
Which ones should you recommend me?

I hope to see some answers here.. that will help me verry well

Greetings Wiebrand

(i life btw in The Netherlands.. so shops from amerika don't have to be mentioned)

Creative Car Craft makes about the best i have seen. fit and finish are great. i have had them on two bugs.

what wheels are you going to be running? i changed my mind from low offset to high offset and was left with having to get large spacers. fixing that now though with 944 arms.

I've got 2" wider Bugpack fenders ... finish is fine but I have to do some sanding to get it perfect. Fitment is another issue ...

Took a while to get them fitted to where I was happy .. the mounting flange is not the greatest.

In the firsttime i will drive with black painted original rims. When I have the money and can find them I will buy BMW-rims from a 5 or 7-serie with the real big wheelbeds (don't know the english word of it) they're verry deep

btw.. I think that i'm going to buy kerschers fenders.. I 've heard that they have a good fitment and an good finishing..

Hello,

I don't know the cost off Kerscher fenders but have you considered Remmele? They aren't really cheap but they fit good with a large lip and their finish is excellent.

Cheers,
Richard
