Question:'78 Super and Phone Dials / Fuchs
Has anyone ever put 15" or 16" phone dials or Fuchs with a 52.3mm offset on a late model Super (mine's a 1978)? If so, any rubbing problems and how did you overcome them? I've been told that the safest approach is to use 55mm offset wheels, but I like the phone dial or fuchs look better than what I've seen in 55mm. Any help appreciated!

the offset os only 2.7mm different. thats less then an 1/8th of an inch.
I wouldnt worry to much about that. your only problem is the rim is still going to be to closd to the stock struts. you will have to run narrower struts like the MAXX (From Topline) or Kerscher. both of them are 80mm in diameter vs, 120mm like the stock struts.

Thanks vujade
Now all I need to do is find some phone dials or fuchs in good shape. I've already talked with Jon at Topline about Maxx Struts and was planning to go that way. Thanks again.
