Which set up to try?

I have a 78 vert and am looking to upgrade my brakes.. Being that I am not rich I was looking at the Topline Disc set up for the front and rear, another set caught my eye from Aircooled... My question is that in the future I will be upgrading to a Type IV (I hope) and was wondering if these brakes will be adequate for saftey needs.. Or do I need something like the Vented discs fro CSP which go for about $600, or a Porsche conversion.. But I have not priced what this will run me.. Figure big money
Please help as I am new and in experienced in this area, and don't want to shell out money twice.. Have to pay the Mortage you know..
Thanks
Alex
If I upgrade engines looking at approx low 100 HP's nothing Massive, since I need looking for added torque and reliablity..

The solid disks you are looking at should be more than adaquate for normal and even some spirited street use. Vented disks help disapate heat after severe braking and needed if you plan to brake hard several times in succession such as on a track or a twisty mountain road that you drive hard (as if you were on a track).
