Rocker arms with no OIL!!

The other day my 69 1500 died on me..just shut down and would not start.
Checked all the ignition and looked good...checked fuel and it was getting to where it is spose to. Just had a random thought and poped the Valve cover off and what do i see...NOT A DROP OF OIL!! the whole thing was dry as a bone. Now im not the best mechanic but im sure there should have been SOME! oil in there??.
Got the old man to turn the engine over by hand and only one of the Valves was opening so im guessing the rockers arms have seized up. Which is not to bad as i can replace those but the thing that has me stumped is why there is no oil getting to the heads? Anyone got any ideas as what could be stopping the oil flow.
I did an oil change about 2 weeks ago so it has fresh oil.
Is there a filter some where that may be cloged up with ****?
Or am i in deep crap and my engine is poked?

Any help would be great

Cheers

Low oil pressure. Possibly caused by a hangine oil pressure relief valve....
