16" Fuch centre caps
I am in the process of purchasing a pair of 16x6 Fuch wheels without centre caps, I already have a pair of 15x6 late Fuchs and I have 6 centre caps, 2 have 3 prongs on them and fit my 15x6 wheels, and the others have a metal band with 3 tabs in it which fit a pair of cookie cutters I have.
What I need to know is if I need to get another pair of 3 prong centre caps, or whether I need to keep the other set. Thanks a lot Paul (UK) |

Paul,
The ones you need for the late Fuchs are the ones with the band on the back. I think it's possible to get the earlier type to fit, but best off using the correct ones... Rich

Ah I should of said, I bought the set of 4 with the band on the back as I was told they were Fuch ones, however when I got my 15x6 late wheels back from the polishers they would not fit. So I looked at the cookie cutters that I am borrowing and took the 3 prong centre caps of them as they did not fit properly. These fitted correctly on my 15x6 wheels, and the ones with the band fitted the cookie cutters. However he only had 2 centre caps and was gonna try and trade with him, but I will wait I think until I get the 16x6 wheels to see what I get with them....
