Rod specs

Hey guys, i am stuck. Can any of you give me some direction. I am trying to find the inside dimension of the big end of the rod housing for a 2.0L.

I'll see you guys on June 11th, I was hoping on having my motor in by then but it looks like it will be a little longer.

Nice job on the stickers too, can't wait to get them.

Thanks
Jamie

Hi Jamie,
I just measured it for you on a stock 2,0 ltr rod I have lying around: Inside diameter is between 53,7 and 53,85 mm. I coudn't get it much more precise.
I don't know the reason you want to know this of course, so I don't know if this will do for you.
Hope this is of help to you.
Regards,
Walter

Thanks very much guys. My machinist was stuck on that measurement during the assembly of my 2056. I told him I would try to find the the answer. To be honest I called alot of shops all over and no one could give me an answer out of the books. The best answers have been measurements taken from good rods. Thanks again.
Jamie
