Need Head Work
I checked Aircooled.net for the heads I would like to use on my 2.0 TypeIV, and decided that my pockets aren't deep enough to spend 7 Benjamins per side on the set I want.
I have checked with local resources for competent machine shop that can install larger valve seats in the Transporter heads I have now, and no one can help in my imediate area. Can anyone tell me of a shop they confide in to do head work on TypeIV engines in the US? Also, are the heads I have suitable for installing larger valves and seats? These heads are off of a '75-'79 Transporter for the European market, and will be for a 2.0 litre engine, with at least 9:1 CR. Thanks. Yetibone
