How good is the CB Performance disc brake kit?

How much horse would the kit be able to stop in a stock weight car? Im talkin cb performance disk breaks front and back. Im plannin to have around 300hp and wonder if I need to look at other brake options. This is all in a stock weight 67 karmann ghia.

They will work nicely. Front brakes are stock Ghia calipers, rear brakes are Varga calipers a-la American midsize and compact cars.

Porsche 944 brakes are a shade under "overkill" in my opinion, but are cheap and easy to adapt to an IRS pan, and a 1303 front suspension. Beam axles are more difficult to adapt to Porsche Disks

CB brakes

I just installed a set front and rear on my 79 Super Conv, but I have not driven them yet. Engine not ready. They are a nicely done set but I have to tell you after putting the big Porsche brakes on my Meyers Manx the front pads on these look like you could use them as a postage stamp. I have sent Alex photos of the front brakes and Kerscher coil-over strut for the suspension/brake photo section.

Thanks,

Randy
