Want to widen rear - use 944 trailing arms?

I want to widen the rear of my 73 standard so it will either exceed or match the front wheels width. I have the cb performance roto-hub disc kit would swapping a 944 trailing arms increase my width by a couple inchs?

If you use the late style arms you can bump out each side by 3 inches. My car with the late arms and 18" x 10" et65 has a track of 66".

good way to, but you would probably have to lose the CB kit though or go through some mods to get it to work on the 944 arm. i am not familiar with the specifics of the CB kit. you would need to look closely at measurements.
