Dual solex questions

I picked a pair of dual Solex PDSIT 32's on the cheap. They're in desperate need of a rebuild, so two questions.

One, which is the right kit for these carbs? Are they the same as those that came on a T3? They supposedly came off a T1 1600DP.

Two, anybody have feedback on how they work on a stock T1? Should I just rebuild and resell them, or will they give me any benefits over the stocker. (Running a 009 btw)

Don

Those are the stock Type 3 carbs of the stock 54hp 1600 dp (which technically is a type 1 engine )
So, they will give you a 10% gain in hp.

Greetings,
Walter

Walter,
Thanks. I figured that out as soon as I got all of the gunk off. Couldn't see the -3. I've rebuilt them and I'm just going to sell them along with the stock bus carbs I have, then put the money towards a set of Dell's.
