Air intake-noise silencer

Hi,

Because of the noise/sound limitations on club days at our local track, I fabricated a housing out of sheet metal with a duct to reduce the air intake noise.
It works remarkebly well and I couldn't feel any difference in power output, although I'am sure there is some minor hp loss.

The constrution is such that the top of the duct is mounted just under the top of the velocity stacks. The usual K&N filter is retained inside the housing.
It saved me some 600-700 euros for a central air filter system
Maybe it is an idea some some of you as well:

Best regards,
Walter

Nice work Walter.

Do you have also made an central box for your silencers (as common by that expensive sets) or are these enough sounddeading?
