newbie's mirrors

new to the forum but just wondering what you guys think about these mirrors to go on my german looker

http://www.datsun510.com/photopost/s...ort=1&cat=3017

just got two of these but in matt black - just thought it might look a bit different to the vitaloni mirrors or carbon f1 mirrors, which i would have got if i hadn't of bought these

ill post up some pictures of my car real soon

I like those a lot, too. :agree: They look like they could be painted body color, too, as a third option. Very nice find.

i basically bought them cos i had never seen them on a german looker before let alone anything else

and also because they obviously look like a more modern and motorsport lookin bullet mirror that loads of old buffers stick on their resto cals and the like

slowly getting there, just amassing parts at the moment

check out the rims i bought too

they only cost me £80

as you can see they need restoring and detailing, but they're a porsche pattern compomotive split rim

Nice and unique. You'll have an awesome footprint on the pavement with sevens and nines. What does compomotive mean?

its a brand name in the uk they make competition based wheels for things like rally cars

you can tell these wheels are for competition as i could pick up 3 at a time no problem

cheers all

i'm gonna keep the mirrors as black cos the bumpers and all the trim is gonna be black too as well as the roll cage

the wheels im gonna have the centres painted either black or very dark grey, and the rims are getting polished as we speak, my car is currently yellow but i would eventually like to get it painted in a dark metallic grey
