Great pictures xellex, just measured it and found 145 mm from the top of the fan blade down to the top of the engine block. Have included the picture in the gallery below. Also included some pictures of my Dads recent (pretty crude riveted) setup
 His setup relies solely on a strap holding the fan in place, It is rock solid. Note the label at the carb  http://azickert.myphotoalbum.com/alb...umName=album02 Cheers
