New Owner at Creative Car Craft
Visited the Pasco County Bug jam this weekend and it was another blow out. Possibly 500 cars. Great weather. Visited the Creative Car Craft booth and was informed that they have a new owner, which happens to be the lead manufacture man of the previous owner. Anyways, the new owner Dave is considering getting into GL parts. However he needs to know there is an audience. He is currently working on molds for front bumpers kits and will entertain any other ideas.
Just thought I'd pass it along. They were in Florida, however the new owner has moved the company to Tennessee. Great craftsmanship. Let me know your thoughts. |

I had emailed the previous owner a few times regarding some CF parts and some GL parts, but they weren't too interested. Hopefully the new guy will have some foresight to keep the buying public in mind, nobody is buying the "Mulhulland Look" parts anymore I'm sure, they are hideously dated. Some new GL parts would probably go a long way if they are done right.

I emailed David, and this was his reply:
"I would like to thank you for the kind words. It is this that drives us and also helps our business thrive.I worked for Stew the founder of CCC for four years before starting my own business which is also VW related. When he told me he was selling it I jumped at the opportunity to own a great name like CCC. We will always build the highest quality parts. I would really like to here and see all ideas. I am working on a product at this time you guys should really like. It is a spoiler that is similar looking to that of an old porsche RS. We are really working hard to bring out some new products this year. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, David Wiley" He seems like a really good good guy, maybe we can post pictures of things we would like to see built on this forum and he can check them out. Jason

David is the same guy that makes all of Jake's DTM shrouds. A really nice guy with an honest interest in the VW world...not just a business owner looking to make a quick buck.

Some flared fenders, early Porsche RS style decklids would be SICK to have here in the states.

Having recently purchased and installed front and rear fenders from CCC (currently getting the pre-67 headlights and bumper bracket cut outs worked out ), I would be very interested in a new dash for my 1303.
A 911 (5 instrument) or 914 (3 instrument) styled dash come to mind. Bah, now it has me thinking of a console made to fit either of the dashes listed above as well. Hmph, Vujade's item "... Porsche Headlight buckets installed into Super fenders (not 3" wider like CCC) ..." has me thinking on another vein - if I'd been able to order from CCC my pre-67 front fenders WITH the headlights installed, I would have done that. Not sure of the cost vs. time for CCC, I can only speak for what I would have done given the option |

I would like for someone to produce parts in carbon fiber for us so we don't have to deal with businesses with poor reputations.
Is this in the works for him? Contact him and have him join the forums! |

Always been partial to the old-school "turbo look" fenders. Might be some market for these in the US?

Since its sort of on the same subject, how come I have so much trouble getting on the their site? I used to not be able to get onto the main page www.creativecarcraft.com, so I would search for it in google and it would find for example the hood page and then I could get on. Anyone else have this trouble? Today I can't get on. I want to see how much their hoods are.
