Struts other than Maxx
I am currently building a 74 super to race in the TCRA's under 2.2 class to save money i want to use struts and still run 15's with 6" or 7" wide wheels anyway does any body know of a source to get struts that fit the stock spindle. and does anybody have a set of the maxx struts and if lyou do how are they? Can they be adjusted (I know not externaly adjusted) ie.. rebuilt for different bump and rebound. what is the stock (stock for the maxx ) bump and rebound? have you had any poblems with them? Thanks

That avatar is absolutely disturbing...
Anyway, any information regarding bump/rebound you need on the Maxx Struts I am sure you could get from the folks at Topline Parts. They are incredibly cool and I am sure they would love to help. As for the quality, I have a pair and I have absolutely no complaints. Naturally, its a gigantic step up from having a stock suspension setup. The ride is firm and the car handles multiple times better.

WHAT? thats a picture of my sister she single if anyone is interested :broken: .
yeah i called topline today and they said that the bump rebound could not be changed but i could use other inserts and he said that the spring could be changed out so as those are reasonably priced i am leaning toward them thanks for the reply.

As far as MaXX struts go in the quality department, you'll have no problems. I have had them on my 72 for a year or so and have had no problems. They are really nice pieces. I'm sure they'll hold up in racing conditions also. Plus, you can see that Topline will help you out with any problems you may have.
