Steel sunroof

Hi guys

I am just wondering if any of you know if a steel sliding sunroof from a 1303 can be grafted into a 1200 shell?

I know the screen is different on a 1303 but I’m not sure if the curvature of the roof is different.

Cheers

I was always told there were no differences from the dashboard/windshield on back between Super and standard Beetles if both are of the same vintage. If that's not correct, now would be a good time to chime in.

I grafted a 1303 sunroof into a 1302 roof, so I dont see why
you couldnt do it to a 1200 roof as well seeing as it is very similar to
the 1302 roof.

We trimmed the roof and grafted it in at the body lines on the roof right
above the drip rails and then all the way to the windshield in the front
and the rear window in the rear.
