Auto Insurance for the Beetle

Does anyone have any experience with Lant & Co. Insurance Brokers Ltd ?

I'm looking to insure the Beetle as a modified/classic car for the summer and need some leads. Car will only be driven to shows and meetings.

Alan ?

Thanks

Sandeep

I have haggerty's insurance.
2500 mileage limitation but they do not check.
you have to garage keep it and you also have
to have another registered vehicle with regular insurance...

I've got mine insured with State Farm. Insured for the appraised value, nothing fancy.

Me, too. I didn't chime in initially with Sandeep's post because he is from Canada and I wasn't sure if circumstances would be different. Seeing that petevw is also from Canada got me going.

I tend to view insurance as being nothing more than a necessary evil but I must admit State Farm has been professional and fair since I switched to them (actually, joining my wife who has been with them since at least I have known her) years ago.

I have State Farm as well, but I've been meaning to talk with them about the replacement value of my VW. About 2 years ago somebody rearended me and even though the damage was light, I had fight the other persons insurance company to not declare the car totaled because the repairs were near the total value of the car.

How much do I get if my car is missing one day or totaled , blue book value? What is that on an upgraded car like most of us have?
