Kafer-cup brace body mods
I am just currently replacing the suspension mount panel on my right rear inner wheel arch. This panel has a hole in it to help clear the shock mounting, but I will be using a kaffer cup brace also. Does any one have any pictures, or is able to descibe, of the body mods required to accomodate this part? It looks like I might have to cut down from the hole to the bottom (which I would have thought would weaken that area)..

If you are worried about stiffness there you can cut two pieces and weld them around there one each side. Just make a template first in order to get the outline of the cut down area correct.

Hello Chris,
Who did you buy the kafer cup brace from is it the 5 or 3 bar setup. Also does the shifter bolt onto your chassis witout modifications, does the shifter have the original shift pattern or is it straight gated. |
