Type III

I remember hearing about a type3 conversion using your parts.
What is the best way to convert a Type3?
Do the traverse and nosecone work the same?

the type 3 can also be converted to 5-speed. Already have had some customers who did it. Frank Slenders from Franky´s VW Service in NL did it with his car and also with a customer´s car that´s used for classic rallies. He used the complete set for the conversion. Don´t know, but perhaps you find some info on his site www.frankys.nl. Best base is the swing axle chassis, cause this type has the framehorns like the Beetle. The swing axle must be converted to IRS (with brackets welded on). Saw it on Franky´s car on the Maikäfertreffen in Hannover in 2006. Franky only uses my parts for 5-speed-conversions
