Nice start Brian. Looks good for $500. A complete running and driving car is worth at least $1,200-1,500 in our area. Maybe more depending on the body, pans, interior...

I managed to get my Ghia shell, an early body '64 on an IRS pan '74 with brand new uninstalled floor pans, for $300. It's not perfect, but for $300 I can't complain at all. Quote:

I have a special color in mind for my next project if I have a next project in the next couple of years. I'm kind of envious of you being at that stage. That's pretty cool you have a Sports Bug steering wheel, too.

			Hi

Good project. The car looked like it was white in the 1st few pictures. If you made it a twin of your vert you could do weddings etc. with both cars. Im doing a 74 1303 as a daily driver/ sons 1st car. Steve

Just some super strength paint remover. It was all done by applying with a brush then letting it sit for a few momemts and then scraping it off with a plastic scraper. It made it really really easy. I wouldnt have done it any other way because it was quite the time saver.
