I decided to build my dream car 4 years ago I spent the best part of 2 years looking at G L site for research. I have I've been building my current car for over two years. I attempted doing the resto myself but after bare metaling two chunks of swiss chease ( i mean cars ) I decided to leave it to the experts and have the work done by the guys who know what they are doing rather than me. I am a bricklayer by trade and I don't have the knowledge or skills to build the car I wanted so ive left it to them, apart from some of the interior and dash wich i am building myself at the moment.I am so pleased that the G L site has been given a chance to continue , it is has been a pure inspiration to me and my project . I owe all the guys running the GL site and G L members who's cars I have been gawping at wide eyed and admiring for years total respect and thanks ,without your constant inventiveness and developments it would not of happened..I would also like to say a massive THANKS to all the fellas who have worked on my project particularly Luke Theocari ( TERRYS BEETLES LONDON ) for his guidance, enthusiasm and his constant bending over backwards ( not forwards ) CHEERS Luke mate," far beyond the call of duty ".I will soon be putting together a blog with pics of the build and a list of all the other workshops involved in the projects development. Thanks again fellas
My cars nearly finished and I am so f king excited its unreal.

I would like to 2nd that, this site is constant source of help and inspiration without any of the problems that some other sites have. I've made a new years resolution, spend more time getting my bug finished.
