Brake Conversions
HI!
What other than Porsche brakes can be installed on super beetles??? I saw a while ago a 1302 with golf/rabbit rotors...anyone know anything about it, anyone ever tryed?? Thanks guys! Martin Last edited by Martice; December 2nd 2002 at 07:03. |

Martice,
You can install a lot of differnt type of brakes : Lancia 2.0 HF (Brembo four piston) Fiat Coupe 2.0 20v (Brembo four piston) Mistubishi Lancer EVO (Brembo four piston & two piston rears) Subaru Impreza 2.0 (alloy four piston) VW Golf II/III/IV is a good choice for rears. Rgds,

Bump... I am curious as well
![]() There are some really really nice brakes on other Euro cars that I bet might be easy to convert if we are creative enough. Think BMW, Saab, Opel Omega (beefy Brembo rotors), and so forth.
