BMW M5 calipers

Hello, I am from Belgium and new to this forum.

I have a complete BMW E39 M5 brake setup in my garage and would like to use the rear calipers on my bug.
Was thinking of using 944 arms and have a bracket machined to fit the caliper.
The mounting points for the BMW calipers are 78mm's apart.
I took some pics of the caliper but can't seem to get them small enough to upload here.
Anybody know if this has been done before? I have 6 pod Torax calipers in the front
