There are NO clearence issues with the engine in my car. Plenty of room 
The Mallory is a perfect fit, there is a nice gap between it and the fan strap. enough room to get a finger in between them (and I dont have small fingers.)

Am I right in saying that's Mike Ghia old drive train?
I'm trying to ascertain wether my (horribly expensive
) W - cabrio decklid will clear my fan (same as you with 911/01 & 911 cooling) as the body is still jacked up off the 'pan to finish the welding & the engine's in a different garage.
