195/45/16 front
205/50/16 rear..

tried the stock 18psi up front and after a hard 5 minute drive i checked the pressures again, they had dropped to to around 10-12psi!!! argh!! low pro's need above 20psi in them to stop air leaking from between the bead and rim on cornering.. 35psi on your rears sounds very high though.. apart from your stereo, whats adding weight at the back? vw's recommendation for a fully loaded rear end is still only 30psi, and thats taking into account the weight of two people in the back....
