equal length T rods on a BJ Bug

In my original reply I stated that I thought it was a really stupid idea to eliminate the long (good) tie rod and replace it with a short (bad) tie rod.
I can't see how you could do a dual steering box steering arrangement without using only short tie rods. If you have any information on how you could do it with long tie rods, show us here.
