The stock bolt is 10.8 I think and only threaded where its needed. I would probobly try and find some of these. Its one of those things that you could probobly get away with, but for peice of mind etc....

Ok, i want to anyways... i got the bolts i have now to test fit, but didnt know if i would have to get new ones or if i could do without. sounds like its best to get the correct one
 .SO, where can i find this sholdered bolt? as i have not seen one at any hardware store here in our town, does a stock 944 unit work?
