Hi Guys,
Thanks for all the feedback, I am glad you all like the system, it is cool to see some of the other "one off" designs, keep them coming... I guess there are many ways to skin this cat. I will post a few more pics, shortly... I have no plans at this stage to start manufacturing these as I would have to get someone in New Zealand to do it on behalf, so the cost may be a bit high, I estimate about $2000 NZ... $1397 US + shipping. The other option would be to have the design drafted and have someone in the states or UK manufacture them as required. You thoughts and coments are welcome.

The Remmele looks ok, it is simmilar to what I had on my beetle before I had this new system made. The issues that I have with this design are that the muffler is not supported, all the weight of the muffler is supported by the heads On my design I included a bracket that attaches the muffer to the block. When the new system was installed on my beetle I had to have the pushrod tube seals renewed becasuse of the load coming off the heads. The second thing would be the pipe lengths, with the longer pipes it alows you the opertuninty to tune the lenghts, If you can get all of pipes to the same lenght or even better to the same CC capacity, then you will achieve a much smoother and efficient exhaust. On the plus side it is stainless... and that always sounds cool.

Thanks to Bill.K for talking me through the posting pic process! As aforementioned, here is my system I had made here in Australia...all primaries are matched lengths and the muffler (as paul notes for his) is supported on the block.
To save posting heaps of pics here, there is a link to the album of the exhaust sytem here: http://www.netspot4u.com/~manxclub/gallery/album02 Here is the sytem part way through manufacture....
