hehehe...I think I still have my hands pretty full with my own projects!
Not sure what the material is called. I just went and bought 1.5m from a local fabric store - I just felt a few different cotton/polyester blends - this one was stretchy enough to go around corners etc but still firm enough to maintain its shape. I think you can use lots of different materials, just go and feel a few different ones (you can even take along your wife/girlfriend/mum so you don't feel out of place!).
