I think the Pinion is a no go. The cost is way to high unless you are willing to spend at leat 1000-1300$ for a Berg5 one.
I also talked to Weddle and they told me that it could be done for 1000$ but nobody will start producing until you have an order of 150 Pinion shafts.

BTW,
even the Mendeolas have lenghtened Pinions for the economy and 5sp model. This info comes from Weddle. Only the high end one has a one piece.

J-Sports in Japan might still get a Berg5 Pinion done. I am talking to Yuki and he said that if there is enough interest the cost could be brought down to about 800$ or so. We will see.

no other Pinions will be made. There is a company that does a 4.125 R&P I believe.
