Here is the thing with the Porsche trannies......you can get a good 5spd for cheap...compared to the Berg5 but once you rebuild it it gets expensive quickly. I hear that there are other options....like a bus tranny or even a Mendeola tranny. If you are thinking of spending this kind of money I would check other options too and make a decision after.

I do not know enough about the other options though like bus and the Mendeola.
