Yeah, sounds like you have the early single piston slide calipers (me to!
 ) I have fitted them onto a 1303 (74 super beetle), so i could share my experinces with you on that (although there is a welth of info with this setup on this site, ya just gotta search). What car is this going onto? (year, standard or super...ect) Jonathan
