Mikey, sorry for taking so long to get back to you. Thanks for the info and pictures.. They do look very similar. Mine have the following number on them:
Code:
20.4673.00
on one half of each caliper and
Code:
20.4672.02
on the other half. Don't know if you have the same numbers on yours? Do those numbers mean anything to anyone?

If they were, the rotors I would need are 993 352 041 02 which are 290mm x 24mm in size, which certainly makes them the right width...

Is there any reason why I couldn't use rear discs for the front of a vehicle?

Lee, what's the differance bettween the two? Is it a differance from Radial to axial? if not I'm probably way off. The reason the calipers in question are axial mount is because they are the 993 REAR calipers. The 993 Front calipers are Radial mount.

The 996's calipers are radial mount front and rear.

On the back half of my left side caliper, it has the number 20.4672.00, and on the right caliper it has 20.4674.00. And I know these are 993 calipers. Then above there's a big 96.

My right front say 20.4564.00. It too has the big '96, could that be a year?
