The better route to take would to machine a spacer to use stock vw bearings and races in the Porsche front hubs. There will be a gain in offset. Along with the rear. Lanner already has the spacers figured out, although I believe he would have to machine your hubs for the grease seal. And shorten them just so they'll fit on vw spindles. After that he might be able to mount a caliper braket on your stock spindles. You'll have to ask. I asked about 944 NA fronts a while back, and that is about everything I remember from his emails. They were clear and easy to understand. I hope it helps.
His site is a good referance too. Offset is a something you should keep in mind, the rear 944 NA brakes add track (move the rear wheels away from the suspension) to the rear wheels. The front will also add track. I bring it up because I'm building a Ghia. Good luck.
