has any one got any detail shots or specs of the cars? i run a 03 in british hill climbs and have been trying to find info on what the kafer cup cars ran. even if it gives me astarting piont for set up. have spent 2 years guessing what might or might not work. cheers rob

Great pics!!!!! You can pick up some of the external enhancements, but would love to see some the inside detail as well. Looks like it was great fun. Was this concerned really competitive racing from other folks other than the guys racing or running their cars?

A few of those cars were developed some more (!!) after the Käfer-Cup ended and ran in the Divinol Cup amongst the fastest and latest (of that time) Carrera RSR's in circuit-mode and they were right up there on the podium! I had asked a question on the german bug-forum about the overhead cammed type 4 engines those guys used in the Divinol Cup (the Holzapfel Overfly engine) and - to my surprise and delight - one of the actual drivers of one of those cars responded! Some of the photo's pictured there, I copied over here. For Rob: Here's the link that features all of them: http://www.bug-talk.de/forum/ftopic10556.html and the same link on our dutch site but with some other Beetle Cup racing pictures for those who don't want to miss anything ;-) http://www.keversite.nl/forum/viewtopic.php?t=13609 Have fun!
