944 is the Porsche 944 not sure of the years
1302 is a flat window super 71-72 1303 is a curved window super 73-79 GL is German Look and VW stand for Volkswagen...Just kiddin  Finally some questions I can answer...I am usually the one asking! Super bugs have macfersion struts also. And they are different between the two.
1302 strut mounts onto the spindle with three bolts from the top. 1303 strut mounts onto the spindle with two like a honda.
