Alex, don't cruise the Mazda. Jump in my super.

I broke the output shaft too, once upon a time. Didn't pull the motor or trans. Did it all in the car.

-Unbolt CV's at trans
-snap rings, cv flanges
-unbolt cover drivers side (may have to remove bottom studs, and replace after with bolts)
-pull diff out
-re-install

Sorry for not replying sooner Pete, I apprecated the offer, but it just wasnt in the cards.

I do have pics of the shaft, and will upload them soon. I'm gonna rip the whole tranny apart with pat's help to make sure there arnt any other surprises.

I've figured out that I can drive the car on 5 psi of boost without the clutch slipping
