That depends on what CV's size the 915 had. Its not the axles, but the CV's that need matching. Some 915's had 100mm CV's, like mine. 944 is always 100mm...

If the 944/24 always is 100mm could it be possible that one type of 944 driveflanges could fit the 915 diff spline?
And could a 944 axle be used for 100mm outer cv and 930? inner cv?
Are the inner splines in the cv`s the same for all?
