Drill a hole in grease cap. Use the VW cap as guide for hole size (a small file can square the corners of hole)

If your spindle is drilled for a an abs sensor you can use the abs sensor by grounding one wire and running the other to the speedo. Did that for the race car and it works perfect.

Does your speedo use a electronic conversion module from the stock bug speedo cable?
I was going that route, but I have something WAY OVER THE TOP now! (will show in a few months)

Hi sorry for the delayed response,I have no module , at he moment I just have the electronic auto meter speedo ,I am planning on using the auto meter sender with that fitted to the front 944 spindle. I am assuming they make a cable to connect the two together .
