It's a 74 1303 same as mine with 2bolt struts.
5x100 rims are pretty easy to get in 17", alot of subis run factory 17" alloys same with alot of watercooled VWs. Aircured, are you running a stock or narrowed beam? ET40 works pretty well with standard bugs with 17x7 rims Most standards need a slightly narrowed beam though with 17x7s if you want a turning circle better than a truck
