front coil over conversion

i have a 65 gl sedan and want a stiffer front end so i can lower it more. would it be possible to convert like an old rabbit front coil suspension onto my 65 front end. just the shocks with the coils use lowered springs maybe? any one done this or know where i can get short coil overs.
