I was just responding to Bruce2's post, as for tire selection I have no idea. if its round and it holds air its good for me.

the usual question applies...how much do you want to spend?

on the expensive side, i have yet to feel any that can beat the Toyo Proxies T1S. in the mid-range, i am running Yoko AVS ES100. only had one trip on them and was being very tame, but liked what i felt so far. on the low side, i think Kumho makes a set. not sure on quality.

kumho tires

Kumho tires are excellent for the money. I ran Kumho 712s on my old car twice (summer only tires although they're not horrible in the winter) and I run their all season tires on my other car and on my beetle. They last a long time, usually cost under 50-75 bucks depending on the model and you can't find a better value out there that I know of.
