The German Auto repros are okay, but you can tell they are "fake" and they're much heavier (cast) than the forged Fuchs. I'd keep looking for originals. Deals are out their. I picked up a clean set of 6x16/7x16 Fuchs for $250 a few years ago...

I have a set of (4) OG Porsche Fuchs (2) 16 x 6 & (2) 16 x 7
They are fully polished and come with center caps that are polished as well. I want $1100 (firm) plus shipping for the complete set of 4 with caps.

thanks for the replies
i'm still looking, a couple sets a on ebay now, i really wanted some in need of refinishing, so i don't have to worry so much in the mock-up process. that whole weight thing was a concern, but if you can tell the difference that easily' i'd better stay away from the ropros. thanks again! |

I have bought flat4 replicas and I can say they're great!
The best thing about them is the fact that they look like earlier 15 fuchs, but they have a rim that can run tubeless tires, just like the late, short-spoke-not-so-pretty rims They're very light and very well made. 800 euros was the cost of them, I just have to get set of caps somewhere
