944 rear axle?sway bar?

Okay you guy did this to me, I was happy just having discs and drums with stock wheels.
Now my project is officially crossed over into GL.
Over the weekend I picked up
complete early aluminum arms with single pot brakes (944 85.5')
springplates and torsion arms
master cylinder
15 x 7 phone dials with tires
space saver spare
all for $400
Now should I have taken the axles and CV's? will they work? right length?

I have a 1303 gearbox with stock flanges on a 69' standard pan. So can I run the 944 CV's and axles on the arms and the T1 CV's on the box ?

and should I have taken the stock swaybar too?
I know I have to make mounts on the pan for that, then I have to run the 944 springplates.
There needs to be a sticky with all the 944 swap info in the forums somewhere. I have spent hours looking through threads.

Thanks Mark

you should have taken the drive shafts and CVs, as the shafts for the aluminium arms are longer than the stock VW ones. You can run type 1 CVs on the inner end of the shafts and 944 CVs on the outer end, no problem.
