Thanks for posting the great photos! Europe has some beautiful landscapes. I miss Germany (lived south of Stuttgart in Gopigen with military tour) Those pix bring back memories...

Tnx for all those nice comments! Makes it worth to share our pictures and experiences!!
A month after our hollidays we ditched the towbar, checked the valve-clearance, filled up the oil and took the white German to Bitburg to see how she would perform on the 1/4 mile. Well, she did very well, if I may say so!
Best run was a 15.5 (the 1915 has 40 year old 1300cc heads, with stock valves!!), so we were very happy with this result.

At the track I tried to make a bit of smoke (This is why mama told you not to put your new shoes on, when you go play outside). So here it is:
