A/c??????????
Sorry guys but I am extremely curious. Is it possible to fit an air condition kit on a type iv engine (911 fan, etc). Is there enough room to do this modification?

My stock system is a tight squeeze on a type 1 block with doghouse cooler in a beetle engine bay. Even that has modded outlets for the LHS air outlet on the fanshroud.
This has the same engine/compressor setup as mine http://flat4.co.jp/cars/forsale/78t1black5.html |

I have seen type I engines with A/c. What about type IV's though?

I've seen it done with a Porsche fan on a type1 engine, it's a tight fit and would make plug changing/carb adjusting a nightmare.

Actually looks like more clearance than with the type 1.
