Very impressive build! BTW how do you control roll? I see no facility for anti-roll bars

Adjustable sway bars. But I don't calculate the bar rating yet.

With the general sophistication of your suspension don't confine yourself to the standard bent bar with holes in the end. This cries out for a hollow bar and blade adjustment at the front and a very short roll bar activated by the rockers at the rear.
Whats the rates for the rear suspension units? Clive |

The springrates will of course be determined by the wheel rate, weight and the desired frequency. The prinicple being to keep the springing soft and the damping firm (Chapman principle).
I had a look at the Nascar units but I would have thought that with a development car that the blade type anti-roll bar would give a greater range of adjustment. The Nascar units might be far to stiff for a lightweight bug especially as they are very heavy and circulate on banked ovals at 200+mph. The roll force must be particularly high. |
