I found my 1303-S badge via www.Thesamba.com. Although I do see some 1303 1303L for sale at some norcal and PNW swap meets I have been to.

They are around, just gotta dig a little.

Of which car they are these wheels? They had been used in porsches?
They are chromed stock 4 bolt steel wheels.
15 x 5.5" front, Mangles from CIP
15 x 7" rear, JBugs has them made from stock wheel centers and has the new rims welded on then chrome plated.

So to fit the 15x7's you needed wider fenders for the rear right?Jbugs told me they would stick out pass the fenders.

Yes, the 1.1/4 widened fenders fit them perfect.

Here's my newly finished 79 vert.

Those boxster wheels on the car in the post above look really familiar

Hey Hypnolobster,

the color is Moss green metallic (code 95C), original color on the 1303 beetle in 1974... So original on the car.
It has been resprayed in 1986 en then the car was stored in wax in a big garage, till the day I bought it. So the paintwork is in excellent condition!

Aircooled greetz,

Humby
