T4

well guys I just got my NEW (old) T4 case and I"m soooo sooo happy that I can start Designing my motor now, but first I need to clean it so what should I use for that? just a degreser?? and warm water then dry fast
and then after that it's time to sit down and think about building and parts that I"m going to need? then think about machening, but I don't knwo much about motors and how different parts work like what cam, crank what size cyl/pistons and etc. help would be great on names parts and anything else that I would need. so what I want: I'll be doing some auto cross and track days, some corusing on the roads but not much. I'm looking for about 200-220 torque that's all I'm really looking for, so what stroke and crank and cam and piston size, bearings, heads and I knwo that I want to use DUAL 44HPMX EMPI CARBS so please help get the ball rolling fo me so I can have this start soon.

thanks
Chris.
