1302/03 Disc Spindles - Part No?
Does anyone have the part numbers for the Disc brake spindles for Superbeetles (1302 and 1303)?
Thanks.

I believe any 02/03 spindles will accept a disc or a drum. I'm not sure of PN's though.

Hi
The 1302 part number has been deleted from my parts CD but the 1303 uses part number 135 407 311 (left) & 135 407 312 (right) Both cars use diffrent stubs for disc or drum brakes. Steve C

Thanks a bunch Steve!
Maybe the 1302 spindles have the Part No. stamped on them? I'll have to see when I get a hold of a set. Thanks fellow GLers

Hi
Sorry I didnt explain that very well. The stub axles are different in the way that the disc brake stub axle has ears for the callipers and the drum stubs have mounting points for the drum backing plate. But physically you can fit a drum on disc stub and v4v. If you have a drum stub axle you could fit a disc to it and use an adaptor to bolt the calliper onto your stub axle. Steve C

Thanks Supe!
I was just getting ready to post a message over on SBO! Good timing.
